This week on the Real Life Momz podcast, Mari Collins Harris discussed teaching kids about saving their money and buying the things they want. In response to their five-year-old son wanting to purchase everything, Mari and her husband created Ketshop to help families like theirs teach responsible spending habits in a safe environment. Through the Ketshop account, parents can make profiles for their kids where they can add items that they are interested in and saving up for. Kids can also set a goal for themselves and when they have reached it, they can check out, but parents will have the final say- approve or disapprove the purchase. Ketshop also provides the option to list trips, like to Disneyland, or things they can fulfill through Ketshop.
